PROJECT MANAGEMENT   :

This functions under direct control of Secretary General and is assisted by Chief Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator (Projects). Implementation is done through the zonal bodies(member organizations) spread all over the country. For review and evaluation external help is taken at times.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT  :

Day to day finance/accounts is handled by the Assistant Coordinator. Professional help is hired in form of Part Time Accountant who oversees the Account Books and Auditing. Yearly Budget is approved by the Governing Body.

INFRASTRUCTURE

ICITP has a National Office which functions from Monday to Friday (10am to 5 pm) . Saturday & Sunday are off , and also all government holidays. It has functioning zonal offices in different parts of the country.

  1. Experience with UN Agencies :  Since 1987, ICITP has been closely associated with Indigenous & Tribal Peoples movement throughout the world . It regularly participates in the deliberations of Working Group of Indigenous People(WGIP) ,  Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues(PFII) and the  Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples(EMRIP).
  2. ICITP has received UN Trust Fund in 2006 – # ASI/06/005 Promotion and campaign of historical and cultural heritage of Adivasi(Indigenous people) in India through multimedia interventions in states of Orissa, Jharkhand and Rajasthan.
