In India the indigenous populations are called\u00a0<em>adivasi<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 original inhabitants \u2013 and we are dedicated to promoting their empowerment, rights and eco-cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Although ICITP&nbsp;primarily focuses on&nbsp;<em>adivasi&nbsp;<\/em>concerns within India, we are well aware that most of these same issues&nbsp;are also now impacting our indigenous brothers and sisters worldwide.
